Colt Model 1855 Root Revolver 2nd Model

Serial Number 431    .28 Calibre    3½" Barrel

This rare early 2nd Model revolver has 75% of the original blue finish remaining, with light edge wear and a smooth grey patina on the back strap.   The hammer retains some case colour    The cabin and Indian cylinder scene is very crisp and clear.   The grip is excellent with minor handling marks.  

The revolver has a very good action and bore.
