Starr Model 1863 Single Action Army Revolver

Serial Number 40010     .44 calibre

Manufactured between 1863-1865, next to Colt and Remington this was the major model of revolving hand gun brought by the US Government in the Civil War period. This excellent example retains nearly all of its original finish with only some very light pitting on the barrel. The revolver has a very good bore and action with clear sub-inspectors marks on all parts and good cartouches on the walnut grip.
