Manufactured by Hopkins & Allen Co. between 1870 and 1880 for Merwin-Hulbert, this very well engineered revolver has the unique cartridge extraction system that allows the empty case to come out and any live rounds to stay in.
This excellent example retains nearly all of its original finish. The 7ins barrel has a very good bore with clear markings. The revolver has a very good action with very good mottled hard rubber grips.
The revolver would be very hard to improve on.
