Cased Colt Model 1849 pocket Revolver

Serial Number 193978    .31 calibre

This very fine set has the revolver with a 4in barrel and "New York" barrel address, the 6 shot cylinder has a good scene. Manufactured in 1861 this Civil War period revolver retains over 60% of its original finish with a good bore and action, all serial numbers are matching including the wedge.

The walnut case is in excellent condition and contains a Colt 31P mould, an Eley Bros cap tin and a correct period pocket flask.
