Manufactured from 1866 to 1870 by the Moore's Patent Fire Arms Co, Brooklyn, New York these interesting deringers are chambered for the .41 rim fire cartridge but can also use a nipple style percussion chamber (included) patented by Joseph Merwin and Edward P. Bray.
This Deringer is in very good condition with a fair bore and good action, the checkered walnut stock retains nearly all of its original finish, the barrel has a clear address and retains some silver plating.
This Deringer was cased and retailed by John Krider, Gun Maker and Sporting Store, Philadelphia. The nickel silver bound and inlaid rosewood case is in excellent condition and contains 12 inert .41 RF cartridges and the percussion adapter.
