Cased Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver

Serial Number 20349 E    .36 calibre

This very fine rare set has the Model 1862 British proofed Police revolver with the 6½ in barrel. Manufactured in 1863 and retaining over 60% of its original finish the revolver has all matching serial numbers with a very good action and bore, the walnut grip is in excellent condition and retains all of its original finish.

The period oak case is in very good condition and contains a James Dixon flask, Colt Police mould, a Colt nipple wrench and cleaning rod and a 500 W&C Eley Colt cap tin.
