Winchester Model 1866 Saddle Ring Carbine

Serial number 149039    .44 Henry Rimfire calibre

Manufactured in 1879, this 3rd model carbine has the standard 20in barrel with a clear barrel address. The barrel and magazine tube both have a smooth plumb brown finish.

The receiver has tight fitting side plates with some minor abrasions, the walnut stock and forearm fit well and are in good condition showing normal wear for a working gun.

The carbine has a good tight action and a fair bore.
