Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver

Serial Number 245041    .31 calibre

Manufactured in 1863 this Civil War period revolver has the 6in barrel which retains over 60% of its original blue finish with a good bore and clear barrel address. The frame, loading lever and hammer show good casehardening finish, the 6 shot cylinder has a good stagecoach holdup scene and retains some original finish. The brass triggerguard and backstrap retain a good amount of their original silver plating with an excellent walnut grip. The revolver has a very good action and cylinder lockup with all matching serial numbers including the wedge.
