Colt "Clover Leaf" House Revolver

Serial Number 6818    .41 Rimfire calibre

Designed by C.B. Richards the "Clover Leaf" house revolver was the earliest Colt revolver specifically made for the metallic cartridge. This revolver manufactured in 1874 has the 3in barrel and is in very good condition retaining nearly all of its original nickel finish with only some light flacking on the frame. The revolver has matching serial numbers on the barrel, frame and cylinder. The walnut grips which retain all of their original finish are pencil numbered to the gun. All markings are clear with a good cylinder lockup and action.
