Manufactured between 1855 and 1857, the pistols were made with 6", 8" and 16" barrels, with a total production of about 3,000, all in .41 calibre.
This 8" model has a clean barrel with a clear address and traces of original blue finish and a good bore. The brass frame is in an untouched condition with very good fitting side plates and a very tight action. The two piece walnut grips, which are numbered to the gun, retain about 80% original varnish.
A very fine example of a gun that is rare to find in any condition.
