French Style Cased Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver

Serial Number 180916    .31 Calibre    6" Barrel

The barrel, with Hartford two line address, has been refinished at some time and retains about 60% of that finish.   The frame and loading lever show light case hardening colour.   The cylinder scene is very clear.   The trigger guard and back strap retain 30% original silver plating.   The action is crisp with all matching numbers.

The French style non-period case is very good and a very nice little set.
