J.M. Cooper and Co. Double Action Navy Revolver

Serial Number 86    .36 Calibre    6" Barrel

This interesting revolver, with two digit serial number, should put this gun in the first model range.   However, the gun has second model markings and rebated cylinder, loading cut is on the right side of the barrel.   Lug only as correct for first model revolver.

The barrel has a good bore with 35% original blue finish.   The frame retains 85% original case colours.   All matching numbers and good action.
