Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver

Serial Number 6580   .36 Calibre    6½" Barrel

The barrel is smooth with traces of the original blue and has the "New York Address". The cylinder has clear patent markings and traces of blue finish in protected areas.

The frame is smooth with strong case hardened finish. The trigger guard and back strap retain some silver plated finish. The walnut grips are very good with about 90% varnish finish.

All numbers match and the action is fine.
