Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver

Serial Number 312518    .31 Calibre    4" Barrel, 5 Shot

This revolver is in very nice condition.

The barrel retains 97% bright original blue finish with an excellent bore. The loading lever, frame and hammer all retain 90% strong original colour case hardened finish.

The cylinder has flaked and is now grey and shows 95% of its original stagecoach hold up scene.

The trigger guard and backstrap retain 80% of their original silver plate finish which has tarnished beautifully to an almost black tone.

The one piece walnut grips rate excellent to mint with very nearly all of their original finish.

A very fine little pocket.
