Cased Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver

Serial Number 20110    .36 Calibre    5½" Barrel

This revolver was manufactured in 1863 and is marked with the one line New York US America address.

Complete matching serial numbers marked on barrel, frame, trigger guard and back strap.

The partial serial number 0110 is marked on the wedge. The barrel and cylinder have approximately 30-40% blue with the balance mostly smooth brown patina.

The loading lever retains 30% of bright original case colour, while the frame and hammer have a smooth, dark patina. The trigger guard and backstrap retain strong original silver plating with the balance having an aged patina. The grips are very good with minor handling marks.

Markings are clear, the action is fine. The case is fine, the lid lining has been replaced at some time. The bullet mould is good and the flask is very good.
