Remington Model 1875 "Egyptian Contract" Revolver

Serial Number 3703   .44 Remington Cal

This rare example is one of the earliest Model 1875 revolvers that Remington manufactured for a contract with the Egyptian Government 1875-1876.

The revolver has the star and inspectors initial "R" marked on the barrel and frame with the inspectors full initials "FR" within a cartouche on the left hand walnut grip.

The revolver is in good condition with a good bore and action.
