Colt Second Model Deringer

Serial Number 1945    .41RF calibre

This deringer is one of about 9000 manufactured by Colt from 1870 to 1890. The blued barrel retains over 80% of its original finish with a clear barrel address and a very good bore. The barrel to frame lockup is very tight, the deringer has a very good action with good nitre blue finish on the screws and good case hardened finish on the hammer and trigger. The checkered walnut grips which are numbered to the deringer are in very good condition and retain all of their original finish.
