Winchester Model 1886 Rifle

Serial Number 56929    40-65 WCF calibre

Manufactured in 1891 this very good rifle has the 26in octagon barrel retaining 90% plus of its original finish slightly thinning with some high edge wear and a good bore. The casehardened frame which has now silvered out but has no pitting and clear markings, the bolt retains all of its original blue finish with good light case colour finish on the loading lever and hammer, the rifle has a very good tight action. The walnut stock and forearm are both in very good condition with a good fitting crescent butt plate.
