Rare Remington-Smoot No 1 with revolving shield

The Remington-Smoot Number 1 revolver was the first of the Smoot range offered by Remington in 1875, the first variation with the revolving shield are among the rarest of this model, later replaced with the fixed shield.

This example is in near mint condition with excellent rose wood grips and has a very good bore and action, this revolver would be hard to improve on.
