Remington-Beal "U.S" Navy Revolver

Serial Number 15078   .36 calibre

This revolver manufactured between 1861 and 1862 is one of the 400 to 500 sold to the U.S Army and shows clear sub-inspectors marks on the barrel, frame and cylinder.

The standard 7½ inch barrel retains all of its original blue finish with a clear address. The cylinder retains over 60% off its its original blue finish with the hammer and loading lever showing some case hardened finish.

The walnut grips are in good condition and fit well to the revolver. The revolver has a very good action and cylinder lock up.
